The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) invites talented and motivated students to apply for our Summer Internship Program in 2024. Join us in contributing to consumer protection and promoting fair competition while gaining valuable experience with a federal agency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis on issues related to consumer protection and antitrust laws.
- Assist in the investigation of potential violations and enforcement actions.
- Contribute to the development of educational materials and outreach programs.
- Participate in legal and policy discussions, workshops, and training sessions.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with FTC teams on various projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., Law, Business, Economics, Public Policy, or a related field).
- Strong academic record and a genuine interest in consumer protection and antitrust issues.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
Experience
- Previous coursework or experience in law, economics, or related fields is advantageous.
- Familiarity with consumer protection and antitrust laws is a plus.
