Description
As a CPS summer intern, you'll collaborate with dedicated educators, administrators, and community partners across various program areas like:
- Curriculum & Instruction: Assist with developing engaging lesson plans, supporting teachers, and analyzing educational data.
- Student Support Services: Provide academic, social, and emotional support to students, contribute to outreach programs, and develop resources.
- Technology & Innovation: Help integrate technology into classrooms, support digital learning initiatives, and explore educational technology tools.
- Communications & Outreach: Assist with communication initiatives, manage social media platforms, and contribute to community engagement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assigned projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.
- Conduct research, collect data, and prepare reports relevant to your internship area.
- Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.
- Develop presentations and recommendations based on your findings.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with additional software skills preferred depending on the program.
- Passion for education and a commitment to serving diverse communities.
Experience
- Prior internship or relevant work experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience in your field of study or a related field is a plus.
- Strong academic performance demonstrates your ability to excel in the internship.
