Description
The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for highly motivated students to gain valuable work experience in various aspects of the electric power industry. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects, contributing to BPA's mission of delivering reliable, efficient, and environmentally responsible power to the Northwest.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assigned projects under the guidance of a supervisor.
- Conduct research and data analysis relevant to the assigned project.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Attend meetings and participate in discussions.
- Learn about the electric power industry and BPA's operations.
- Network with BPA employees and other professionals.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in a relevant field, such as engineering, finance, natural resources, economics, public policy, or law.
- Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software (may vary depending on the internship).
- U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization for the U.S.
Experience
- Prior internship experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience in the electric power industry or a related field a plus.
Skills
