Description

The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for highly motivated students to gain valuable work experience in various aspects of the electric power industry. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world projects, contributing to BPA's mission of delivering reliable, efficient, and environmentally responsible power to the Northwest.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with assigned projects under the guidance of a supervisor.
  • Conduct research and data analysis relevant to the assigned project.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Attend meetings and participate in discussions.
  • Learn about the electric power industry and BPA's operations.
  • Network with BPA employees and other professionals.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in a relevant field, such as engineering, finance, natural resources, economics, public policy, or law.
  • Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software (may vary depending on the internship).
  • U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization for the U.S.
Experience
  • Prior internship experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in the electric power industry or a related field a plus.
Skills
