The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Internship Graduate Students Program offers a dynamic opportunity for graduate students to gain firsthand experience in the critical field of border security. Responsibilities
  • Assist with data analysis and research projects
  • Contribute to policy development and implementation

  • Gain exposure to CBP technology and security measures (depending on the internship placement)
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a master's degree program at an accredited university in a relevant field, such as:
    • Public Policy
    • Homeland Security
    • International Relations
    • Criminal Justice
    • Business Administration (with a focus on logistics or trade)
    • Engineering (with a focus on technology or infrastructure)
  • A strong academic record is preferred.
Experience
  • Prior internship experience or relevant coursework is a plus, but not required.
Skills
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
