- Assist with research and data collection for ongoing projects within city departments.
- Support in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with staff on various initiatives.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of community events and public outreach programs.
- Perform administrative duties including filing, document management, and data entry.
- Help develop marketing and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with social media content creation and management.
- Support city staff with any additional tasks as assigned.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
- A passion for local government, public service, and community development.
- Available for full-time, 10-week internship during the summer of 2025.
- Strong academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in a government, non-profit, or community-focused organization is preferred but not required.
- Experience in research, administrative tasks, or event planning is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
