Description
The DLA Internship Program offers undergraduate students an opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a dynamic government environment. Interns will be placed within various departments and contribute to the mission of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) by learning from experienced professionals and participating in real-world projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research, analysis, and data collection relevant to assigned projects.
- Support program and project management tasks.
- Draft correspondence and prepare presentations.
- Participate in professional development activities and workshops.
- Gain exposure to various DLA functions, such as logistics, contracting, and procurement.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program (freshman, sophomore, or junior year).
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
- Demonstrated interest in public service and a desire to learn about the DLA.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
- Prior internship experience (in any field) is a plus.
