Responsibilities
  • Participate in firefighting and emergency response activities under the guidance of experienced firefighters.
  • Conduct fire prevention and safety inspections.
  • Assist in maintaining firefighting equipment and apparatus.
  • Participate in training exercises and drills to enhance firefighting skills.
  • Provide support during medical emergencies and rescue operations.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote fire safety and education.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognized firefighting or emergency services program.
  • Possess or be in the process of obtaining relevant certifications (EMT, Firefighter I, II, Hazardous Materials).
  • Physical fitness and agility to meet firefighting job requirements.
  • Strong commitment to public safety and community service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience
  • Previous firefighting experience or related coursework is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in emergency medical services is a plus.
