Description
The DHS Pathways Internship Program offers graduate students a chance to gain valuable experience within the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. Interns will work alongside professionals on real-world projects, contributing to ICE's mission of securing the nation's borders and enforcing immigration laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research, analysis, and data collection relevant to assigned projects.
- Support program and project management tasks.
- Draft reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Participate in professional development activities and workshops.
- Gain exposure to various ICE functions, such as investigations, enforcement, and intelligence analysis.
Qualifications
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Current graduate student enrolled in an accredited program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in public service and homeland security.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
- Prior internship experience (in any field) is a plus.
