Description
The U.S. District Court Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to gain valuable firsthand experience in the federal court system. Interns will work alongside court staff and gain exposure to diverse legal matters and courtroom proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on assigned topics.
- Assist with case management and administrative tasks.
- Draft correspondence and other legal documents.
- Observe courtroom proceedings and trials.
- Participate in educational workshops and seminars.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
- Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in law or public service.
