This internship program provides a unique experience for individuals looking to explore the field of veterinary medicine and animal care. Interns will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and support staff, gaining hands-on experience in a variety of veterinary services.
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in daily clinical procedures.
- Participate in the care and treatment of animals under supervision.
- Support the management of medical records and documentation.
- Contribute to client education initiatives on pet health and wellness.
- Assist in laboratory procedures, including sample collection and analysis.
- Participate in surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Provide support for general hospital operations and client services.
- Attend training sessions and educational programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science).
- Strong academic record.
- Passion for animal care and veterinary medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle animals with care and compassion.
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Hands-on experience in a veterinary clinical setting.
- Exposure to various aspects of veterinary medicine and animal care.
